3DTV is here

In the Market for a High End 3DTV ? Samsung ,Panasonic and Sony have all announced there top end 3DTV’s and we want them all! We cannot decide which one we want but we have narrowed it down to these 3 Magnificent Creations:

Samsung UE55C9000 Full HD 1080p 3DTV

Slim,Powerfull and that remote....

Slim,Powerfull and that remote....

The Korean Giants unveiled their new range led by the flagship C9000 series last month, having taken the market by storm in 2009 with their ultra-slim UE series LED edgelit TV’s it seems that only a fool will bet against them maintaining their massive LEDTV market share.

Features:

The 9000 series is thinner than ever and more beautiful than ever with a design in silver metal and black. The new LED-TV (LCD with LED) also features 3D support, which can be enjoyed with 3D content in 2010.

The secret behind the ultra-thin frame of 8 mm is a Edge LED backlight, where the LEDs have been placed along the edges of the panel. In order to make the 9000 series even thinner, Samsung has also moved some of the control electronics into the stand, which can be rearranged when TV needs to be wall mounted.

Samsung’s new 9000 series can display true 3D content together with a 3D Blu-ray players, but it can also convert 2D content into 3D (although the quality is probably far from true 3D).

Developed with a completely new remote control the 9000 series seeks the Apple look. The new remote has a touch-sensitive screen. The remote can even function as an extra screen, and you can watch TV directly on your remote while watching Blu-Ray on the TV.

You can even browse through all your music, photos and video from another PC at home using DLNA technology. Once you’ve found the vacation photos from last year on the extra screen on the remote, you can “beat the air” with the remote towards the TV and the content will now be displayed full screen on your TV.

The 9000 series incorporates 200 Hz technology (which is required for 3D), as well as Samsung’s Internet@TV. Internet@TV features a wide range of online services such as YouTube, Twitter, etc.

Samsung has also integrated the newly developed “Samsung Apps” system. Samsung App is a store similar to Apple’s App Store, where various developers and consumers can create applications for your TV. Internet@TV is of course wireless.

1staudiovisual’s final word: Sure to continue the massive sales generated by the B8000 series the C9000 series will surely be the benchmark for all other LED TV’s to be measured against. Oh and we are already in love with the remote.

Panasonic have lately been seen as the undisputed leader in Plasma TV’s and with the release of their 2010 range there is one TV that stands head and shoulders above the rest, the TXP65VT20 is a direct replacement of the multi award winning V10 series and with the addition of 3DTV ,VIERA Cast and VIERA image viewer ,the TXP65VT20 is sure to collect awards a plenty. Expect to fork out at least £3k when it is launched in May 2010.

Features:

3DTV: Panasonic uses full HD sequential playback to achieve a level of reality that far surpasses standard 3D systems. Called ”Frame Sequential Method”,  the same method that is used in Hollywood’s 3D films. Separate images are recorded in 1080p resolution for the left and right eyes and are alternately displayed at the ultra-high speed of 100 frames per second. Viewing them with high-precision 3D Eyewear produces 3D images in fullHD quality.

600HZ Pro:The 600Hz Sub field Drive in VIERA plasma TV’s is teamed up with Intelligent Frame Creation Pro technology to deliver smooth, fluid on screen motion. Intelligent Frame Creation Pro detects moving objects and optimises the flow, to smoothen the image and ensure crisp motion.

VIERA cast: It’s easy to view full-HD images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos and motion images right after you take them. Simply insert an SD Card into VIERA to display photos and full-HD videos on the large screen. An easy-to-see, easy-to-use thumbnail display has also been added. Special new slideshow frames, and an increased number of display effects are also included. Plus, Reversal Film mode makes photo colours so rich and vibrant, even professional photographers will appreciate them. Messages and memos can be added to photos from a PC to create detailed travelogues and original slideshows with messages for special people. This further expands the possibilities for VIERA enjoyment.

SONY KDL60LX903 60 INCH 3D LCD TV

Thats right a 60inch LCD

Thats right a 60inch LCD

Sony produced some great products in 2009 spearheaded by the X- series. Many people in the industry did feel that Sony was losing the plot with their High End screens and the response from the Japanese giants could not have been better. The Flagship LX903 series has certainly caught our attention and we still cant get over the fact that Sony has managed to produce a mainline 60 inch LCD TV. We have seen 60 inch TV’s in the past but never using LCD Tech combined with LED edge-lighting and 3DTV this has to be considered a serious contender for the High End Market.

Features:

BRAVIA Internet Video – connect your TV directly to the Internet to access online services, stream full-screen videos and watch the programmes you missed on catch-up TV

Internet Widgets – download online widgets to your TV to help you keep up-to-date with news from your favourite websites while you watch TV, sure to be a hit with Facebook and Twitter among them.

Bravia 3 Engine: BRAVIA ENGINE is the high picture performance engine used in the latest Sony LCD televisions. An original picture tuning and noise reduction process was developed by Sony to guarantee vivid and high contrast images. The complex noise reduction process enhances low contrast images until they are crisp and realistic, and processes blues, greens and whites within each frame to generate the richness and colour accuracy.

Position Control – clever face-detection technology recognises when you’re not sitting directly in front of the TV and optimises sound and picture performance for your viewing position

Distance Alert – use the built-in, face-detection technology on the TV to protect your children’s eyesight by getting the TV to alert them to move to a safe viewing distance

1staudiovisual’s final word: make.believe is the Sony slogan and they have made believers out of us with the specs on this 60 incher. PS. It tells your kids to move to a safe viewing distance, a novelty yes ,but what a novelty.

So there you have it, our 3 most anticipated TV’s for 2010, we dont think you can go wrong with any one of them but then again we love all TV’s.
