NewsFactor - YouTube and the William Morris Agency are nearing a deal that would put the Hollywood talent broker’s clients in made-for-YouTube productions, according to a report in the New York Times.

I think its a good idea as long as it doesn’t change the way youtube works. Its already a medium for loads of artists to showcase their talents and this will just mean it may attract more talent scouts and result in Unknown artists both with a talent agency and representing themselves from getting spotted.

I would have liked a link to New York Times for complete news since it’s now old and would take some time to go back to their archives. Now on the topic, I think it’s great that these talent agencies are getting contracts with Youtube which will enable actors to show their potential and talent on youtube and try to build up their career in a positive way.
