High precision 4:4:4 signal technology
High precision 4:4:4 signal technology processes each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc™ video signal in the horizontal direction to complement vertical direction processing. When viewed on a high end VIERA TV model, which features 4:4:4 signal compatibility, it recreates images with the original film quality to further enhance movie enjoyment.
HD Playback
With DMP-B500, JPEG photos and AVCHD movies shot with your Lumix (digital still cameras) and HD camcorders can be played back like a photo frame. The still images and movies can be played in combination, as well as viewed with a calendar and/or a clock.
DLNA technology
Using DLNA® technology, DMP-B500 can access files on the DLNA Server compliant PC* or high definition recorders (DIGA)**. By simply connecting to home network (LAN), you can enjoy AVCHD, WMV, and JPEG on your PC or AVCHD files and recorded programmes on your DIGA**. *Requires Windows 7 Operating System. **DLNA server function on DIGA currently available only for Germany/Switzerland model.
