This really is an excellent machine, I have had panasonic's in the past and the very few rough edges that there were have now been ironed out. There is a very good interface that is almost fool proof and the one touch recording using Guide+ with series recording is a superb feature. NO more missed programmes. There is however a cople of caveats, why oh why does everything have to be black these days why not white or silver as of a few years ago, and the instruction manual although very comprehensive would leave someone who had no experiance of this type of recorder feeling as though they were dropped in the deep end. It could really do with having a primary "Quick Start Guide" just to cover the basics before getting too technical. But overall well worth the money and an excellent product. It is absolutely light years ahead of an eqivalent Samsung or Sony.

Answer from Val: Our Current range of Freeview DVD Recorders only have 1 tuner so you are not able to watch and record 2 different programs using the DVD Recorder. You can record a program using the DVD recorder and then watch another program using the tuner in your TV, if it is able to recieve Freeview.
