The next step is called the SAMSUNGUE40C7000 and it features the same four-legged stand as the 8000 series. The design is based on Samsung's "Touch of Color" philosophy from the 2009 models.

The 7000 series is slim because of an Edge LED backlight but without the so-called local dimming feature from the 8000 series.

The 7000 series also incoporates 3D and converts 2D to 3D. It has a 240 / 200 Hz system, Internet@TV, DLNA and Samsung Apps.
