Full HD reproduces the picture in the exact way it was transmitted without having to scale the image to fit a lower resolution TV. The number 1080 refers to the lines of vertical resolution and the letter p stands for progressive scan as apposed to interlace scan that is less smooth and can cause flicker.	A new technology that uses multiple LED\'s around the outer edge of the screen as apposed to LCD that uses a simple constant backlight to illuminate images on the screen and can lead to black and grey looking washed out. LED\'s can brighten, dim or turn off when required giving blacks a far more authentic look and colours greater subtlety.	Traditional TV's display visual images at 50Hz frames per second. 100Hz runs at twice that amount by creating an extra unique frame between each of the existing 50 frames. Doubling the frames displayed per second results in a much smoother picture especially when watching fast action movies and sports.	Quadruple speed frame rate for TV. Three predictive new images are added to the action giving you an astonishing 200 frames per second that results in super sharp images ensuring that you don\'t miss a single detail of the action taking picture clarity one step further and eliminating judder and blur.	Digital Living Network Alliance allows your home and mobile entertainment devices and PC to share digital content, such as photos, music and video, with each other via a wired or wireless network, both within and beyond the home giving you the freedom to access, play and share your favourite content regardless of where you are.
