The SMART Document Camera™ offers you a convenient way to display and explore images of objects anytime without losing the momentum of your lesson. The document camera’s seamless integration with SMART Notebook collaborative learning software allows you to capture images and instantly add them to a SMART Notebook page. You can also write over images in digital ink or save them in the Gallery for later use.

Instantly create and share content with students
Integration with SMART Notebook software enables you to transform images into interactive content anytime during a lesson to help your students stay interested and attentive. The SMART Document Camera comes with the latest version of SMART Notebook, and you can access and control the document camera directly from a menu inside the software. Theres also a button on the document camera itself that allows you to capture images directly to SMART Notebook software.

Easily add interactivity to learning
With the SMART Document Camera, you can keep students engaged by easily creating interactive learning opportunities in your classroom. Imagine the convenience of viewing a science experiment in real time with your entire class or displaying a book as you highlight key sections. Its also easy to let students share objects or schoolwork with the class.

Ready for mixed reality
Mixed reality offers an innovative way for you to foster deeper engagement and understanding by enabling your class to interact with 2D, 3D, animated and audio-enriched content. And when our education-specific mixed reality content becomes available in summer 2011, youll be able to display it using the SMART Document Camera while your students actively manipulate and explore the enriched content on a SMART Board interactive whiteboard.
