TADL extended warranties covers on-site repair or return to base ((RTB) if the product can't be fixed on-site. An upgrade of the RTB can be purchased which would upgrade you extended warranty to on-site repair and hot-swap-out-loan replacement (in the event the product can't be fixed on-site) of your equipment after the manufacturers warranty has ended.
NOTE: All Plasma and 32" + LCD extended warranty has on-site & hot-swap-out-loan as standard.
If parts are unavailable (e.g. discontinued), or the product is non-repairable then TADL replace the faulty product with a comparable model or will come to an agreement (at the customers request) for an upgrade to a higher specification at an additional cost.
RTB (Return(ing) To Base) Extended Warranties
In the event that you product cannot be repaired on-site, it will be returned to base. LCD and Projectors extended warranties are RTB as standard, although a hot swap-out lone exchange upgrade is available. In the event that parts are unavailable (e.g. discontinued), or the product is non-repairable then TADL replace the faulty product with a comparable model or will come to an agreement (at the customers request) for an upgrade to a higher specification at an additional cost.
Hot Swap-out Loan Exchange
If your product cannot be repaired on-site, it will be swapped out with a loan unit until your product repair is resolved. If parts are unavailable (e.g. discontinued), or the product is non-repairable then TADL replace the faulty product with a comparable model or will come to an agreement (at the customers request) for an upgrade to a higher specification at an additional cost.
